Guided Walks

We can do walks around the Corwen Area including the Berwyn Mountains and Clwydian Range and Dee Valley can also offer walks in all areas of Snowdonia. We can even arrange day walks that link to the Llangollen Railway.

Basic Navigation

A good start to navigation, this day or weekend will teach you basic navigation, from symbols, scales and grid references to ground shape, measuring distance, taking bearings and using a compass. The perfect course to start your adventures outdoors and in the mountains.

Navigation Skills

Building on the previous course, or your own skills set this day or weekend will address all aspects of advanced navigation and leave you capable of finding your way confidently.

Hillwalking Skills

This weekend will be able to move you from a track follower to really explore off the beaten track. With improvements to your navigation, route planning, and knowledge of both emergency procedures and the mountain environment. Throughout this practical course you will have the opportunity to explore the dramatic higher peaks of North Wales and travel over some of its wilder terrain.

Two Day Expedition

This weekend is an ideal opportunity for you to find out what’s is in store for your own future expeditions.  This two day course will allow you to practise your navigation skills, rucksack packing and carrying, over night camping and experiment with expedition food.  An ideal starter to expedition work.
